In the heart of the Waterberg’s Big Five country, Entabeni is aptly named – the place of the mountain in the local language. Covering more than 22 000 hectares of bushveld, ravines, savanna, sandy wetlands and wooded hills, it offers various types of quality accommodation and a flexible daily programme, including game drives and guided walks with a ranger, and with optional extras such as a visit to a local Pedi village, guided horse trails, helicopter flights and meals on Hanglip Mountain, sunset boat cruises, children’s eco-educational programmes and beauty treatments.

Day 1: Johannesburg to Entabeni.

Arrival at OR Tambo International Airport. We will meet and assist you with banking, foreign exchange, cellular rental and any other retail service you may require within the terminal building; from here we can stop for lunch at any restaurants along the way and finally arrive at Entabeni Game Reserve in time for your afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Entabeni Full Day.

The day starts early with your first safari just before dawn. You will return to the lodge then for breakfast and have plenty of leisure time on your hands or you can choose any of the many extra activities available at the reserve.
After lunch you’ll have some more time to relax or take a “siesta” and recharge your batteries for the late afternoon drive.

Day 3: Entabeni to Johannesburg.

Early morning Safari followed by breakfast and transfer to Johannesburg for your next flight.

Child Policy

Children are welcome however; children under six years of age will not be permitted on game drives. Where possible, depending on the number of children in-house and the availability of additional vehicles, special game drives for children can be arranged. Although these drives cannot be guaranteed, they usually take place after breakfast.
Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to participate in the game walks offered at Entabeni Safari Conservancy.
Cognizance must be taken of the fact that Lodges situated on Entabeni Safari Conservancy are unfenced and extra precautions need to be taken to ensure the safety of children.

The Entabeni Game reserve Tour includes:

3 meals per day.
2 game drives per day.
Transfers to and from the Reserve.
Prices are based per person sharing; single supplements available on request.
